Ehhhhhh I try not to mock that shit publicly either. I’m one of the only OUT athiests I know and I don’t wanna’ give myself a bad name. My mom made a statement yesterday that I had to really bite my tongue on yesterday when my dad was talking about how people always gave him shit when he said there were cowboys with long hair back in the day and he found tin type pictures of certain historical cowboys that did…my mom brought up Jesus and I was kind of rude because “Mom he’s not a cowboy.” I guess she was more trying to make the point that long hair is not some hippie thing…it’s not a judgment of character, but more than anything the images of Jesus as most people know him as a pale skinned mousy brown long haired blue eyed person were created in the 1940’s to give to soldiers and then became commonplace in most homes. In reality Jesus would look like a Muslim because of where he came from…so hard sometimes when people are so conditioned they can’t understand basic common sense shit hahaha If Jesus existed he is like a Hercules character who has been over-hyped and misinterpreted as the bible is a book of fables and morals written a long long time ago. The Pope is a fucking joke though mind you and it’s so hard to have a devout Catholic friend at times hahaha
